What To Know Before You Get Waxed For The First Time

• There needs to be hair on the body before waxing, do not shave beforehand 
• Take some pain medication to help ease the pain 
• Do not schedule around your time of the month 
• Figure out what kind of wax shape you desire 
• Understand you may be exposed during the services 
• The more wax services you get, the less discomfort you will experience
• You must be 18 years of age or older to use all of the services at Body Glow Wax.  If you're less than 18 years old you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
• We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who is unable to provide proof of age.

Cancellation & No Show Policy

Here at Body Glow Wax, we realize that things come up and require schedule adjustments. We require a 24-hour notice to make adjustments to your scheduled appointments or cancel scheduled appointments. No exceptions. Canceled or rescheduled appointments 24 hours in advance will be of no charge. We have implemented this policy because we believe the time of our clients and staff is valuable. All appointments scheduled using a credit card or credit card on file will be charged 50% of the service fee if the appointment has not been canceled, changed, or rescheduled within 24 hours of your appointment. Cancellations, no-shows, and late arrivals significantly impact our availability to serve our clients.

For you to reserve an appointment, we require you to agree to our cancellation policy, as follows:

1. Appointment confirmation and reminder emails and texts are a courtesy. Not receiving these communications does not make a last-minute cancellation or now show exempt from our policy. We encourage our clients to set their reminders.
2. All clients that come into the studio to schedule an appointment for a future date must pay 50% of the services.  If you schedule online the full-service fee must be paid.  If our no-show, cancellation, late arrival policies are not honored, your credit card will be charged 50% of the scheduled services. 
3. We offer a credit on the account to use in the studio at a later date for services paid for but not used.   
4. We do not offer refunds on unused or used body contouring, service packages, or gift certificates.

Important Note:  Body Glow Wax is for Adults only!  Anyone under 18 years of age must be getting services and be with a

parent or guardian.  Underage children are not allowed to wait in the waiting room unattended without adult supervision.
